I normally taste a lot and swallow a little, meaning there will be a lot of news to give but I won't spend any ridiculous amount of time with any of the topics.
I also have a terrible musical background. I love music but it just wasn't in my childhood, so now I'm making up for lost time. During this time, you will be force-fed the current artist(s) that I'm listening to.
I waste horrible amounts of money trying out any and all forms of available tech, nothing specific. My recent 'money pit': Buying a PSP (1000) and hacking it, mostly just so I could see how it works (wonderfully). Prior to that: An iPod touch, just because I wanted to A) Hack it, B) Try out all the fun apps.
Regardless of what games release and how amazing they are, we all have a couple games we consistently return to. It's like our favorite beer, or movie. It's our comfort zone, and it's always there for backup when your fantabulous new game (or whatever) fails to please.
I know this game like the back of my hand, and have done speed runs before. It's a major part of my childhood. Hell, it's a major part of a lot childhoods.
I'm sure you're thinking 'wtf'. Yeah, me too. This game has been pulling me in, constantly, since it's beta stages on the HL1 engine. I always loved Counterstrike, just like mostly every other PC games, but I always liked DoD a little more. I've played it for years, know everything about it, and even did CAL for a short time.
No, no specific game. I'm a sucker for anything and everything Star Wars. Be it books, mods, fan films, or official releases I'll be there on release day waiting like a fat, giddy kid wanting some cold ice cream and cake after being forced by mom to get out on the playground.
There will, most likely, be a good bit of news relating to mods. I'm a huge fan of mods, for many reasons. Modders, and other indie game devs, do it for the love of the game (and for knowledge/experience). I respect them all, and they deserve any attention they can get.
Now that we have that out of the way, I'll go back to doing what I do. Stay frosty, world.

Hello and Welcome!
This will be my third attempt at making a blog. It's going to be a conglomeration of edutainment and factoids, technological lessons learned, and important news (yanked from the gaming and tech news circuits).
Think of the internet as unfiltered, disease ridden water from a poor 3rd world country. I'm your Brita water filter. Come here for the good, virus free facts and links.
